FP Animal Therapy Centre opened in 2022 to expand on our owner's four years of experience offering mobile physiotherapy appointments. Opening our own centre meant we could offer hydrotherapy, starting with our Underwater Treadmill. In June 2023 we expanded further with the introduction of our Hydrotherapy Pool. In June 2025 we expanded are able to offer pain clinics with a vet and the use of the PainTrace ® .
Pain Clinic initial appointments with our vet include the use of the PainTrace ® and are £330, Follow up appointments are £84.
Follow up appointments with the PainTrace ® are £78 but must be booked in conjunction with a pain clinic review or physiotherapy appointment.
Flora is our founder and leading therapist. She graduated from Coventry University with First Class Honours in a three year Veterinary Physiotherapy degree. She is an active member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and the Animal Health Professions' Register (AHPR).
Flora is experienced with dogs and cats, having carried out placements with a range of dogs during her studies, and having had many family pets over the years. Flora undertook further training to become a qualified canine hydrotherapist and is an active member of The Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP). She has built a wealth of experience with rehabilitation cases, as well as performance enhancement of sporting dogs, previously working at Moulton Animal Therapy Centre.
James graduated from Bristol University Veterinary School in 2014 and has completed a one year, residential postgraduate diploma in clinical veterinary practice. He has since gone on to work for various veterinary practices. James has been running a chronic pain clinic and acupuncture service since 2022 and now offers these services at FP Animal Therapy Centre. James is passionate about managing chronic pain in animals and improving quality of life.
Jess joined us in August 2023. She has a multitude of experience in animal care having attended Berkshire College of Agriculture. She furthered her experience within the dog sector working at a rescue centre and most recently for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in the healthcare team.
Jess holds a Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and is a member of the Institute of Canine Hydrotherapists. Jess is also currently undertaking further learning and qualifications towards a Level 6 Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy. Jess has a passion for animal welfare and is an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable addition to the team.
